Developments.

Here I have re drawn and designed all the concept designs I liked and have changed what needed to be changed and commented on how these garments may appear in further developments.

Jacket one is a cropped coat made of 100% wool with screen printing and no fastenings are included. Jacket two is like an oversized pea coat with drop shoulders, will be a heavy 100% wool but button fastenings up the front. Jacket three will be a heavy duty wool and possibly have some contrasting polyester sleeves, contrasting zip will fasten up the front, it is a oversized tailored cut. Jacket four will be 100% wool except the front panel might be a contrasting polyester with patchwork detailing, behind the front panel will be a button wrap for fastening. The vest will be a cropped oversized casual fit made of 100% wool for warmth, possibly in a pop color of blue or red?
Cape number one will be a heavy wool for warmth and will be a pull over the head with buttons on either side of the neck piece, 4 panels are used in this design. Design two is very similar except it has arm slits and is just two panels. Jackets three will be an oversized boyfriend blazer style jacket made of 100% wool with drop shoulder sleeves and button up the front. Design four is similar to design two but shorter, more of a cape/shrug.
Dress one will be a kimono sleeve with lots of movement. 100% organic fair trade cotton will likely be the base and either a wool or bunchy silk will be used for the cuffs and neck. Screen printing for the print. Dress two will be either 100% merino or organic cotton with screen printing and is a loose pull on fit with flared cuffs.
The dresses I carried forward. Dress one has been shortened since the concept and is now sleeveless with a centered bandau. Dress two I gave a higher skivvy neck, it will be merino wool with thicker wool cuffs and 100% silk front sash's. Dress two has been designed from combining two concept dresses. It will be 100% wool with screen printing, incorporating all my color pallet, gold, black, blue, red and green. Dress four has been designed from a skirt and top. Sleeves have been added, the skirt will be gold wool and the top 100% organic fair trade cotton with screen printing. Dress five will be 100% wool in a golden tone, most likely screen printing with several colors for the pattern.
The tops I chose to go forward with in development. The first 3 and the last one will be 100% wool. The main body of the tops will be a lightweight 100% merino wool and the cuffs where added will be a heavier duty wool for contrast, the same as the top band on design one. The rest will be 100% organic fair trade cotton and the tee shirt prints will be screen printed. Design 3 and 5 both have cut outs in the back representing the holes in the Christchurch Cathedral building now. I do not like design 5 so will not go forward with that one. Colors will be mainly black or an off white where cotton is used.
These are the skirts I chose to go through with. They are all a simular style and will be fastened with a 20cm centre back visible silver zipper for contrast. Same as pants they will be made of 100% wool fabrics, a thicker wool than the pants, however some polyester might be used for particular styles.
Here I have developed the pants from my concepts which I chose to go forward with. They will all be made from 100% light-mid weight wool fabrics in order to maintain warmth during the winter. Some will have sewn patchwork detailing and others will be screen printed. Fastenings will either be a side seam invisible zipper or a tailored fly at the centre front. Colors will be black or gold and possibly some blue, green or red incorporated in the prints.
